With Taberu, chef Heidi Skye Hamamura brings together her fine dining experience, background in the visual arts, and formidable sushi technique (learned at the knee of her father, chef Naomi “Hama-san” Hamamura, one of St. Louis’ OG sushi masters) under the umbrella of a catering and private event venture.

Chef Heidi and her team can be discovered at exclusive ticketed collaboration pop-up dinners across the city, as well as at special events like the Japanese Festival at Missouri Botanical Gardens (every Labor Day weekend) Anime STL at the Saint Charles Convention Center and the Red Lantern City Night Market in CWE (every third Saturday in July) founded by Chef Heidi in 2020.

    • Create 15 assorted nigiri with garnishes and sauces, plus a hand roll to start.
